Porthcawl

A great traditional South Wales seaside resort which even today attracts both locals and people from further afield.

With multiple beaches and areas to suit everyone, including the famous traditional fairground at Coney Beach, the Grand Pavilion still providing entertainment and shows, and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from.

Rest Bay Beach

One of the jewels in South Wales' crown, this beach is perfect for everyone, on sunny calm days, families flock there, but when it's a bit windier, there are perfect surfing conditions for the hard core.

There is a cafe and surf centre nearby where you can buy refreshments or even arrange a surfing lesson.

Other attractions

There are so many things to do around Porthcawl and the surrounding area. If golf is your thing, then there are several courses nearby, one of which is a championship course, . The Welsh Coastal path is right on the doorstep, offering plenty of walks for people of all fitnesses.
